The Tuwaiq Trail Race is back for 2024 – here’s how you can register
Trail running around the Tuwaiq escarpment never gets boring…

A must-run. A classic. A tradition. The Tuwaiq Trail Race (TTR) is a fond favourite in the (rather nuts) world of trail running – after all, the Najd’s first ultra-marathon has been going since 2021.

And it’s now back on Saturday November 16 for its fourth edition, offering an exciting adventure through the stunning landscapes of majestic mountains and expansive desert vistas. You won’t find more breathtaking views to take your mind off your screaming leg muscles than on TTR.
If you believe great views are worth working hard for, then this is the race for you.
Here’s all you need to know about this year’s Tuwaiq Trail Race.
TTR offers trail hounds the chance to participate in three types of races, with distances for all levels – from 10km all the way up to 50km.
The 10km AlWadi Trail starts at 6.45am and is priced at SAR195 per person; the 25km Al Manjour Trail starts at 5.45am and is priced at SAR320 per person; and the 50km AlArid Ultra Trail starts at 5.15am and is priced at SAR459 per person.
There’s also something new and exciting for the little ones. TTR welcomes juniors aged four to 16 to take on a fun and frenzied one-mile Tuwaiq Junior Adventure Trail (SAR75 per person) that will start at 6am.
So, bring the family and enjoy a fun-filled day for everyone. Plus, each participant will receive a bag with a race bib, neck gaiters, a race t-shirt, a finisher medal, a digital certificate, and complimentary photos and personalised videos.
Another reward, of course, will be the lively after-party, which will soon soothe all your pains away.
