Head to Phet Phet

Currently still in the soft-opening stage, Phet Phet is the newest spot on the list. A little Thai kitchen (their definition, not ours), Phet Phet lands in the capital from Kuwait where it’s a no-nonsense quaint spot serving great eats, and we think the same ambience carries over to the Riyadh location. Mains on the menu include spicy potato noodles, panang curry (made with homemade red curry paste with coconut milk and peanuts), shrimp cashews, and so much more.
Phet Phet, Pure Center, 3250 Takhassusi Branch Road, An Nakheel، RGHB7984، 7984, daily 6pm to 10.30 pm. @phetphetksa

Check out the White Robata terrace
Serving Japanese-American food at its finest, White Robata recently opened its terrace for the very first time. The venue hosted the first-ever What’s On the Menu event in Riyadh and offered delicious dishes and stunning views of the surrounding Laysen Valley skyline. Walk in and you’ll be greeted by a massive dimly-lit space inspired by ’90s anime, complete with figurines of UFO Robot Grendizer placed across the space. Look around, and you’ll even see an innovative undulated ceiling concept indoors, and feel the wind on your face outdoors. Food-wise, we’d say everything we’ve tried so far has been amazing, though clear standouts have to be the lobster fried rice, sushi, and more.
