The Riyadh Metro just announced its Ramadan operational hours
Here’s everything you need to know…
Ramadan in Saudi Arabia will begin on Saturday March 1 or Sunday March 2, to be confirmed by the moon sighting on Friday February 28. This is the first Ramadan that the Riyadh Metro will be running for, and it will change its timings throughout the Holy Month. These are Riyadh Metro Ramadan timings.
The major public transport system has announced timings for both the Riyadh Metro trains and buses.

During the week, from Sundays to Thursdays, the trains will be operating from 8am to 2am. On Fridays, they’ll be running from noon to 3am, and on Saturdays, the trains start to function from 10am to 2am. The Riyadh buses on the other hand, will be running daily from 6.30am to 3am.
The Riyadh Metro is the largest in the Middle East and the world’s longest driverless train system. There are six main lines and 84 stations covering a distance of 176 kilometres. The Riyadh Metro network covers most of the highly populated districts, government facilities, and key educational and commercial areas.

The most popular line to date is the Blue Line, which runs between Al-Olaya and Al-Batha and has seen nearly 10 million passengers on board. The buzziest station to date is the King Abdullah Financial District station, which serves as a major hub for switching lines. The station, located on the eastern side of KAFD, serves as a hub for the blue, yellow, and violet lines.
