You can still get tickets for Saudi Arabia vs Australia in World Cup qualifier tomorrow
But only if you’re supporting the Socceroos…
Tomorrow (Tuesday June 10) marks the final match of the third round of Asia’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, in which Saudi Arabia will face off against Australia.
Over 60,000 supporters are anticipated at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah. Fans have been given free entry for Category 1, 2, 3, and 4 tickets; unfortunately, these have all been taken up.
If you’re keen to catch the game live, tickets for the Gold category, priced at SAR500 per person, are still available. They can be purchased via the WeBook platform.
A quick glance at the site suggests that the remaining seats are designated for Australian fans. Therefore, if you’re cheering for the Subway Socceroos as they take on Saudi Arabia in a high-stakes showdown, be sure to secure your tickets before they’re all sold out.
Why is this game a big deal?
Saudi Arabia’s World Cup hopes hinge on this match. Having scored six goals through nine qualifying games, the Saudi Arabia team must defeat Australia by a five-goal margin to earn a direct spot at the 2026 World Cup.

Anything less than a five-goal deficit means Australia – currently second in Group C – qualifies for a seventh World Cup. The last time the Socceroos lost by such a margin was in successive 6-0 defeats against Brazil and France in 2013. The Australians have scored 14 goals and conceded six across nine qualifiers.
Asia has been allocated eight places in the 48-team World Cup hosted in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The top two teams from each of the three groups in this round will advance directly. The third- and fourth-placed teams in each group enter another round, vying for two more places.
Japan was the first to qualify and will top Group C regardless of the outcome between Australia and third-place Saudi Arabia. Iran and Uzbekistan have qualified from Group A, and South Korea and Jordan have qualified from Group B.
If Saudi Arabia fails to win by five goals, it will join the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Indonesia, and Iraq in the next stage of qualifying in October. Meanwhile, Oman is fourth in Group B, a point ahead of the Palestinian team in fifth place, with the two teams set to meet in Amman tomorrow as well.
