Saudi Arabia now has its first international private jet operator
Malta-based VistaJet is set to be the first one
Travelling to and from Saudi Arabia has never been easier, and we know this, but when you want a certain level of privacy and speed, it’s rare to find. Enter VistaJet in Saudi Arabia.
Getting its General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) approval to operate on Saudi soil just today, the private aviation operator is actually the first and only global private aviation company.
Set to operate and offer flights internally within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, VistaJet in Saudi Arabia will offer immediate private aviation services throughout the Kingdom.

The private jet operator currently has the largest international fleet of Global 7500 and soon Global 8000 jets. Clients travelling with VistaJet can also reach any point around the globe nonstop, directly from the Kingdom, thanks to the country’s strategic location.
The operator has served markets around the world for more than 15 years, including in Dubai, London, New York, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong. The operator is committed to ensuring it adds actual value to the Kingdom when it comes to travel.
The move comes less than four months after Saudi regulators, on May 1, scrapped rules that had barred international charter operators from offering domestic services, according to Arab News.
Founded in 2004 by billionaire Thomas Flohr, VistaJet flies between any two destinations under a “pay for hours flown” fare structure.
