The King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture, better known as Ithra, has just launched its first-ever outdoor food festival, and you need to check it out. Welcome to the Ithra Food Festival.

On the festival program, you can look forward to specialised cooking workshops for four different dishes, which are called culinary experiences on the website. The dishes include tacos, pizza, steak, and sushi—each running for three days and powered by Filmmaster.
Perfect for food enthusiasts who want to learn authentic cooking techniques, the workshops offer hands-on learning experiences led by professional chefs. Happening over the course of two weeks, the workshops will be dedicated to an iconic dish or cuisine and hosted in an open kitchen within the food area.
Beyond the workshops, visitors can explore 10 food stations offering a range of cuisines, including Saudi, Indian, Egyptian, Mexican, Japanese, Asian, Persian, Australian, Italian, American, and Lebanese.
Food carts include Sculpture, La Dedos, Legend, Whoa Tea, Crepes Des Alpes, Taco Ville, Witchcraft, Mama Nini, Pattis, and Saje. Entry to the festival is free, but if you want to take part in the workshops, tickets start at SAR50, and you can book your ticket here.
The initiative is the latest in a long line of events that are happening as part of Ithra Winter. Happening from Wednesday October 29 to Saturday January 31, 2026, the season is set to welcome over 130 exciting programs and activities focusing on arts and cultural heritage, films, architecture, and design. Discover a world of inspiration across Ithra’s lush gardens, from mesmerising shows and global music to interactive workshops and innovative youth experiences.
