The news was announced via socials

Last night, it was announced that the highly anticipated Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2026 in Jeddah, scheduled for next month, has been officially cancelled following careful evaluation amid regional developments.

After several alternatives were considered, Formula 1 and the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) ultimately decided not to make any substitutions to the April calendar, cancelling the Bahrain Grand Prix, scheduled for April 10 to 12 as well.

The Formula 2, Formula 3, and F1 ACADEMY rounds will also not take place during their scheduled times. The decision has been taken in full consultation with the FIA and respective promoters.
