Sketch and Give: Sketch and donate for a good cause this Ramadan

This is a wonderful initiative…

Renowned international fashion designer Honayda Serafi is calling on you to take out your notepads and sketch for a good cause.

For every sketch that you create and post on the Sketch and Give official Instagram account, an Eid outfit will be donated to a good cause by participating retailers and initiative patrons.

The participating charity organisations are Al Nahda Philanthropic Society for Women in Riyadh and Al Oula Non-Profit Organisation in Jeddah and a number of other philanthropic organisations, educational institutions, and private companies.

Established designers, students and artists are all invited to take part in this initiative, which not only will benefit the less fortunate, but also allow fashion designers to showcase their work.

Commenting on the initiative, Honayda Serafi stated, “Sketch and Give is a partnership that brings together the designers, retailers, and philanthropic organisations.”

The initiative, which was launched in the second week of Ramadan, has already seen participation from a number of key participants including Saudi designers such as Samah Khashoggi, Wid and Shahad Rehaimi, and Razan Al Azzouni,

Fashion influencers Nada Baeshen, Heba Mojaddidi, Yara Alnamlah, and Nojoud Alrumaihi have also contributed to the cause.

Want to participate? It’s easy.

All you have to do is sketch a design and post it on your social media page and tag @sketch_and_give

Your design will then be posted on the Sketch and Give official accounts, after which a new Eid outfit will be donated.

And if you need a little inspiration, you can head on over to the Instagram account now and see plenty of beautiful designs.
