It looks like a Nobu hotel is set to open in Riyadh in 2020
The first five-star luxury boutique hotel in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia…
At a time when travel is restricted, we need to start looking a little closer to home to enjoy a holiday. A sleek new Nobu hotel is opening soon in Riyadh, and it’s set to be ‘the first five-star luxury boutique hotel in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.’
Designed with the ultimate luxury and elegance in mind, the new Nobu Hotel is described as an ‘urban oasis’. It stretches out over 23 storeys, and the entire of the outside structure is glass-panelled, which is sure to be alluring before you even walk through the doors.
The hotel will boast 119 luxe guest rooms and suites, lots of dining options, a gorgeous spa, a full-service fitness facility, an exclusive executive club lounge, well-equipped meeting rooms and two huge ballrooms. We can’t wait to see it.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Nobu hotel without its own branch of the celebrity-loved Nobu Restaurant, and the one here can be found on the second floor. With an obvious nod to Nobu’s Japanese heritage, the spacious restaurant is reached from a winding wooden path.
Whilst the hotel itself is cited to ‘make its debut later this year, the Nobu Restaurant is officially open and welcoming guests. Make sure you don’t miss the large fish scale wooden structure, which is the main design feature.
The rooms and suites look to be understatedly elegant, with light coloured furnishings, contrasting with warm woods. Japanese culture is evident, with subtle artwork adorning the walls. We reckon you’re in for an amazing night’s sleep.
The two grand ballrooms are the perfect setting for any celebration, from wedding receptions to awards nights, and they can hold up to 300 people each. There will also be six meeting rooms for business, which will come equipped with state-of-the-art video conferencing equipment.
