The “Two Years” campaign has been revealed…
If you’re wondering what the text message on your mobile phone is all about, it’s a teaser from Visit Saudi, a platform by Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), announcing the return of Saudi Seasons this year.
The new Saudi Seasons will kick off in the fourth quarter of 2021 with more excitement and larger-scale events. It aims to serve all different segments of the society through diverse entertainment, arts and cultural activities and experiences.
Furthermore, for the first time ever, the public is invited and encouraged to help shape the new Saudi Seasons program by sharing your opinions and suggestions.
Here’s how you can participate:
Click on the link in the text message, and it’ll bring you to its interactive website. Then, all you have to do is fill up the 15-question survey.
The questionnaire aims to understand your wants, likes and dislikes to make the upcoming Seasons more personal, significant, diverse, exciting, and exhilarating. In addition, the “twice as big” campaign promises to make up for the past two years due to the pandemic.
In line with Saudi’s Vision 2030, the Saudi Seasons play a key role in delivering the leadership’s vision to enrich the lives of citizens and enhance the quality of life for residents. It will also help promote the different tourist destinations and highlight the cultural, entertainment and sports treasures that position Saudi firmly on the global tourism map.
Its 2019 edition – in which it was launched as an experimental initiative – featured 11 festivals that took place in the different regions of the Kingdom. They consisted of the Eastern Region Season, Ramadan Season, Eid Al Fitr Season, Jeddah Season, Ta’if Season, Eid Al Adha Season, the National Day Season, Riyadh Season, Diriyah Season, AlUla Season and Ha’il Season. With more than 390 key events, the debut Saudi Seasons attracted over 50 million visitors.
