Suspended 300 meters above the city, the Kingdom Tower’s curved Sky Bridge offers spectacular views across the Riyadh skyline and beyond. The entrance to the Sky Bridge and the ticket desk are tucked away between Mont Blanc and Carolina Herrera stores. You’ll then be whizzed in an elevator to the 77th floor – home to the King Abdullah Mosque, the highest mosque in the world – before transferring to a second lift serving the Sky Bridge on the 99th floor. So, get your iPhone ready for that perfect Instagram-worthy photo opportunity.

The newly-opened Mirzam has become one of our favourite options for an Arabic breakfast in Riyadh. The decor is simple but stunning, and the food is unpretentious but scrumptious. Order the chicken mugalgal and Mandi foul when you’re there.

Mirzam, An Nakheel, Takamul Plaza, Riyadh 12383, Fri 6am to 11.30am & 12.30pm to 5pm, Sat 6am to 5pm, Sun to Thurs 6am to 3pm. Tel: 053 418 7431. @mirzam_sa

Groove to the tunes of DJ Tasnneem from the comfort of your home

We can think of no better way to spend a Friday night in, than with our favourite tracks from India-based act, DJ Tasnneem. So, turn up the music as she will be live streaming on the official Power Horse social media handles. For the uninitiated, season 2 of Stream Sessions by Power Horse – a digital space to see and hear house and techno music – will host weekly episodes, from now to October 15, showcasing the cultural roots, artistic journey, and DJ sets of artists from India and the Middle East.
