Browse, shop, work and grab a coffee from the Fred Perry pop-up in Riyadh
Fred Perry has opened a first of its kind experience in Saudi Arabia for a limited time…
British heritage fashion brand, Fred Perry, has imagined the shop of the future, with an experimental pop-up in Riyadh.
Located next door to the Fred Perry shop on Olaya Street, the space houses a pop-up events and creative hub.
A journey through the history of Fred Perry
The pop-up, the first of its kind experience in Saudi Arabia, brings together an assortment of elements you typically would not find in a shop here – from installations to photographs displaying original archive Fred Perry pieces.
It provides an insight into the man himself, the brand, the iconic Fred Perry shirt, and their relationship with subcultures past and present.
The space is cosy yet essential, illuminated by LED lights and furnished with unpretentious furniture in wood and glass. Products for sale are also displayed here.
What’s dynamic about it is that it can be transformed to host events that will not only embrace the emerging subcultural artists of Saudi Arabia, but act as a catalyst for a new generation of Fred Perry ambassadors.

And if anyone else knows about youth culture on the streets, it’s Fred Perry. This is the place where you can look forward to a multi-faceted programme of local art exhibitions, independent movie screenings and gigs of various musical genres.
A spokesperson from Fred Perry commented, “Fred Perry has been part of the subcultural uniform since the 1950s, and the Laurel Wreath remains a signature of both individuality and belonging. We’re excited to open a space where everyone is invited to experience the true sense of the brand and what it has meant to people – from elite sportsmen through to fringe subcultures.”
More than just an exhibition space
Oh, and there’s more. The venue also acts as a creative, co-working space by day, encouraging the creative community to connect.
If working remotely has taught us anything, it’s that some people can work from just about anywhere.
Plus, you’ll be pleased to know that it also serves up coffee from Coyard. These folks get our nod as one of the best Riyadh-grown coffee roasters – their hands-on approach results in roasts as innovative as they are delicious.
The Fred Perry pop-up will be open for six months, so check it out.
