The weekend is almost here…

Thursday November 11

1. Watch the World Cup match of Saudi Arabia vs Australia

The 10:10 Lounge at Marriott Riyadh DQ is where you need to be if you’re gripped with all the excitement of the World Cup season. Grab a seat and cheer for your favourite team as the Saudi Arabia vs Australia match will be broadcast on a giant TV screen at 12.05pm. Also, the menu has some great choices so you can enjoy a sumptuous lunch by the pool.

2. Enjoy discounted prices at Combat Field

Fans of war and combat games, this one’s for you. Combat Field offers games including paintball, battlefields, laser tag, and escape rooms. You can also learn more about guns and weapons used to win battles at Baroud, a gallery of old firearms. What’s more, they have reduced the prices for the entry ticket from SAR110 to SAR30 on weekends and from SAR55 to a mere SAR10 on weekdays.

The second edition of the Riyadh Toy Festival kick offs on Nov 12, offering a fun destination for families. Themed “Discover, Play, Shop”, the festival includes the launch of international games for all ages amidst interactive activities and the participation of the most popular game brands. There’s also a retail area for visitors to shop and take advantage of the great offers and discounts. Disney, Mattel Games, Hasbro, Toy Pro, Moonbug, the children’s entertainment firm, MGA Games, and pocket.watch are among the notable companies present at the event.

Everyone’s favourite farmers market at the Diplomatic Quarter (DQ) is back. Shop for your favourite organic items, including fresh fruits and vegetables, while enjoying prepared foods, baked treats and more. This Saturday-only market not only boasts a plethora of locally grown produce and handicrafts but is picturesque, too – sit and enjoy the surroundings next to Oud Square. Non-DQ residents are required to register to enter the gate and access the event.
