If the Harry Potter reunion show had you spellbound, pack your bags for Platform 9 and 3/4 as cinemas across Saudi Arabia are showing the very first film this week.
From Thursday January 20 for a limited time, Potterheads can relive the magic of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone as it hits cinemas to celebrate the wizarding world’s 20th anniversary.
Wondering where to relive your favourite magic moments from the first film? Vox Cinemas have screenings at Al Qasr Mall, Riyadh Front, Riyadh Park and Sahara Mall in the capital; as well as at their locations in Jeddah’s Red Sea Mall, Tabuk Park and West Avenue Mall in Dammam. There’s kids, standard and VIP screenings, with show times ranging from 10am to 1.45am.
Muvi Cinemas are also showing the first film in the 8-part series at their four locations in Riyadh, plus Mall of Arabia in Jeddah, Jubail Mall in Jubail and at both their locations in Qassim.
With standard and prime cinema suites, plus the options recliners and plush rockers, AMC Cinemas invite movie lovers into the magical world of Harry Potter, with screenings across Riyadh, Jeddah and Al Khobar.
If you weren’t already reaching for your broom, fans who buy tickets to see the first film then stand the chance to be among the first to see Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, the newest adventure in the wizarding World, when it releases on April 20.
