Jeddah Season is returning for 2022

As Riyadh Season concludes, we’re turning our attention to the coast…

Jeddah Season is returning for the first time since 2019, the National Events Center announced this week, with preparations already underway for the city-wide celebration.

In 2020 and 2021, Jeddah Season was cancelled due to Covid-19, so it’s a welcome return for the event, which attracted 15 million visits in its inaugural year in 2019. Jeddah Season ran from June to July, 2019.

As of yet, we don’t have too many details about what to expect, but a press conference during Ramadan is expected to give more details. What we can be sure of is that Jeddah Season 2022 will present events and recreational activities that reflect the city’s historical, cultural, and tourism significance.

On its social media channels, Jeddah Season has already revealed a colourful new identity, so we’re excited to see what’s in store for the 2022 edition.

Jeddah Season is one of the 11 Saudi Seasons that take place each year, an annual calendar of festivals first unveiled in 2019. You’ll certainly be familiar with the biggest and longest-running of the Saudi Seasons, Riyadh Season, but each year you can also look forward to seasons including Taif Season, Diriyah Season and Hail Season.
