Here are six cool things to do in Riyadh this weekend.

Thursday April 7

1. Enjoy a ladies’ night at the Ramadan Bazaar

Al Wadi Stables

If you’re looking for a fun ladies’ night to spend with your gal-pals, this Ramadan Bazaar, organised by AlWadi Stables, a female-only equestrian academy, is the one. Expect a relaxed vibe here. There will be an outdoor manicure and pedicure and vendors selling food and drinks, clothes, perfumes, accessories and more.

2. Embrace the spirit of Ramadan with a delectable outdoor iftar

Gather your family and friends outdoors and enjoy the pleasant evenings at Nofa Riyadh. The vibe here is absolutely delightful, plus you’re surrounded by the lush alfresco garden. You can depend on the skilled chefs for an iftar menu featuring traditional Ramadan flavours.

Nothing quite lifts the spirit like a cleansing session of yoga. Zen-seeking warriors can pop by the Indian Embassy for a sweat-dripping workout that welcomes both beginners and experienced practitioners.

In celebration of the holy month, entrance to Boulevard Riyadh City is free throughout Ramadan. Triple in size this year, it is one of the biggest zones in Riyadh Season, and each of the sub-areas features its own set of activities, restaurants, events, and stores that are catered to all visitors.

On top of juices, coffees, and soft serve, this sleek monochrome cafe offers salads, croissants and sandwiches, while dessert offerings include cronuts, French toast, Dutch pancakes and puffs. Yes, the desserts are tasty. But for our money, the salted peanut butter cronut at this hot spot is absolutely the way to go.
