A renowned luxury wellness resort is headed to The Red Sea

The first Miraval resort outside of the US will feature villas with private pools, cooking classes and the largest spa in The Red Sea…

With a strong focus on wellness and mindfulness, Miraval Resorts and Spas have become an industry leader in the US – and for their first wellness escape outside of America, the brand is headed to Saudi Arabia. Miraval The Red Sea is one of a number of ultra-luxury brands set to debut in the first phase of the incredible Red Sea Project, and will welcome guests to an 180-room luxury wellness resort.

Guests will be able to check-in to a serene oasis on Shura Island, the central hub of the highly anticipated new development, where transformative wellness experiences and the largest spa in the Red Sea destination await.

The collection of abodes ranges from guest rooms and suites up to one- to four-bedroom villas, all spread across a sprawling 3 million square foot plot. Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty and unique topography of the Red Sea, Miraval The Red Sea promises to promote moments of ‘mindfulness, relaxation, and introspection.’ Sounds blissful.

The star attraction will be the Life in Balance Spa, set to be the Red Sea’s largest, complete with 39 treatment rooms, a mangrove boardwalk, walking trails and workshop spaces. In addition to offering a selection of Miraval’s most coveted signature spa treatments and experiences, the spa will offer groundbreaking new treatments, destination-inspired experiences, and a series of innovative wellness programs that pay homage to the rich local culture and heritage of the Middle East.

The luxury wellness resort will also feature diverse culinary offerings, which will extend beyond the traditional restaurant experience to offer cooking classes and workshops.

Miraval The Red Sea joins a roster of already announced luxury hotels set to open within the development. Also under the Hyatt umbrella, Grand Hyatt The Red Sea is expected to welcome guests in phase one, alongside openings from Six Senses, St Regis, Edition, Fairmont, Jumeirah, InterContinental and SLS.

Activity for the  first phase of development is well underway and is on track to be completed by the end of 2023.
