Hello, weekend…

If you’re looking for ways to spend the weekend in Riyadh, you’re in the right place. From newly released movies and hip-hop celebrations to happy hours and tacos eating challenge, here are eight wonderful things to do in Riyadh this weekend.

Thursday June 30

1. Catch the delightfully silly sequel of the Minions

The second in the Minions films series, which together form a prequel to the Despicable Me franchise, documents the first time the yellow creatures meet Gru, the pre-teen who will become their master. At the mischievous age of 11, he’s already sporting the hunchback and hook nose and dreaming of world domination. He suddenly finds himself centred as a hero, squaring off against a villain stable called the ‘Vicious 6’. All the same, it will keep kids (and adults) tolerably amused.

Book your tickets here.

2. Make your day a little happier with this happy hour deal
