2. Sign your kids up for a summer camp

The Artal Summer Camp serves boys and girls ages three to 12 years of age. Children get to engage in various sports such as gymnastics, yoga, and Zumba. Campers can also participate in activities such as pottery, cooking class, water play and candle making.

3. Go on a nature walk at night

Organised by Riyadh Women Getting Fit, the Monday night walks are suitable for all fitness levels. Take a stroll through the Diplomatic Quarter, which is well lit with streetlights all along the route.

4. Check out the new Aleph store

The opening of the latest Aleph store at The View Mall marks the 14th store in Saudi Arabia and the seventh in Riyadh. Aside from being Apple’s authorised reseller, Aleph offers a high level of customer service and a range of products, including iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks, as well as other gadgets and accessories.

Now that school’s out, how about bringing the family to Al Watan Park for the dozens of accessible rides. The theme park features old-time classics like the miniature Ferris wheel and some adventurous rides where kids pilot their own flying planes. Better yet, you can enter for free from Sunday to Wednesday if you purchase a game ticket (SAR10) or the game’s wristband (SAR40).
