It’ll be their first performance in the Kingdom…

Boyband fans are in for a treat this September, as famed Irish boyband Westlife are set to perform in Saudi Arabia for the first time later this year.

The location has now been revealed with the concert being held at Maraya Concert Hall in AlUla on Wednesday September 28. Tickets are now available on TicketMaster, and there are early bird specials, with prices starting from SAR330. So, mark it in your calendars and get your tickets now.

As well as performing in AlUla, Westlife will bring their The Wild Dreams Tour to Abu Dhabi, UAE, a day later, on Thursday September 29.

Westlife first broke into the harts with their debut single, Swear It Again, and went on to have a string of hits including What Makes A Man, World of Our Own and Flying Without Wings. Fans can expect to hear all these – and more – when Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan perform in Riyadh in September.

More live music coming soon

Azimuth, a three-day festival celebrating a union of East and West through music, art and experience, is back in AlUla from Thursday September 22 to Saturday September 24. The second edition will welcome sets from international performers such as Damian Lazarus, DJ Snake and Parov Stelar. Local music names and renowned regional artists, including Saudi violinist and DJ Kayan, Dorar, Solskin, Dish Dash, Baloo, Nomad, Biirdperson, Gooner, Anmarz, and Vinyl Mode, will also take the stage at Azimuth 2022.

Later this year, American pop-rock band OneRepublic will be performing in Riyadh on November 10.
