8 cool things to do in Riyadh this weekend: September 8 to 10

Cheers to the weekend…

Looking for activities to do with your friends and family? Gear up and grab your crew for a day of fun adventure and activities in Riyadh.

Here are eight cool things to do this weekend.

Thursday September 8

1. Watch a murder mystery movie this weekend

Love a murder mystery-comedy? See How They Run takes place in the West End of 1950s London. Plans for a movie version of a smash-hit play come to an abrupt halt after a pivotal member of the crew is murdered. When world-weary Inspector Stoppard (Sam Rockwell) and eager rookie Constable Stalker (Saoirse Ronan) take on the case, the two find themselves thrown into a puzzling whodunit within the glamorously sordid theatre underground, investigating the mysterious homicide at their own peril.

See How They Run, Mystery/Comedy, Rating PG15, 1h 40min. Book your tickets here.

2. Tuck into handcrafted mooncakes from Yauatcha

This year, Yauatcha presents its take on the Mid-Autumn staple, with lotus, red bean, pistachio, creamy custard snowskin, and pandan snowskin flavours taking centre stage.

Yauatcha Riyadh, Mode Al Faisaliah, Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Rd, Al Olaya, Riyadh 11433, daily noon to midnight. The mooncakes are available until the end of September. Tel: 9200 06555. @yauatchariyadh
