Whether you’re a seasoned jazz listener and appreciate the nuances of this unique music genre, or you have yet to experience the thrill of a live jazz band in an elegant setting, it’s time to get yourself down to Il Baretto at Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD).
For two nights only – on Monday December 19 and Tuesday December 20 – the celebrated Italian restaurant will play host to scintillating live performances by London-based jazz musician Emma and her band. The performances will unfold over two dinner seatings each evening, setting the tone for a sophisticated dining experience.
Expect Il Baretto’s usual panache – swanky interiors, moody lighting, and a fizzy atmosphere. The menu, by head chef Alex Simon, draws influence from speciality dishes and regional Italian produce, which includes a curation of Italian favourites as well as modern classics.
Diners can choose from its ala carte menu featuring an array of antipasti, salads, Josper grilled mains, and house-made pasta to the chef’s newly introduced seasonal menu, such as Sicilian prawns tartare, ravioli burrata served with wild mushroom sauce and seafood risotto with saffron and lemon.
So, head to this intimate venue to soak in the mood of Il Baretto’s Live Jazz Nights, chow down on a plate of pasta and indulge in a mocktail or two. It’s a weeknight, but there’s never a bad time to listen to some good ol’ jazz, in our opinion.
