NEOM: A new luxury island destination is coming to the Red Sea

Golf course, yacht club, beach clubs, and restaurants will sit alongside ultra high-end hotels and apartments…

Imagine a place where the weather is always enjoyable, the ocean crystal-clear, with a rich marine life and some of the world’s most luxurious hotels. Now say hello to the dream island getaway coming soon to the stunning Red Sea: Sindalah.

Sindalah, the first luxury island destination in NEOM, was unveiled this week by HRH Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the NEOM Company Board of Directors, described as “an escape like no other”.

The year-round destination will provide travellers with three new hotels offering 413 rooms including 88 villas and 333 serviced apartments.

Unforgettable experiences above and below the water…

With its close proximity to Europe and the Mediterranean, Sindalah will become a hub for the international yachting community with easy access to a stunning 86-berth marina.

The responsibly-designed travel destination where “laidback island chic meets new-age luxury” will feature a luxurious beach club, spa and wellness centre, yacht club, 38 unique restaurants, and 51 luxury retail outlets.

As well as the natural beauty and perfect year-round climate, adventurers can discover the rich marine life and biodiversity – home to more than 2,000 marine species from dolphins to manta rays.

Sindalah is also expected to become a popular golfing destination by offering enthusiasts the opportunity to experience a world-class 5,920 meter, par 70 course.

HRH Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Chairman of the NEOM Company Board of Directors commented:

“This is another significant moment for NEOM and a major step in the Kingdom realising its tourism ambitions under Vision 2030. Sindalah will be NEOM’s first luxury island and yacht club destination in the Red Sea, providing a scenic gateway to the Red Sea that will become the region’s most exciting and attractive tourism location.

It will be a destination where travellers can experience the true beauty of NEOM and Saudi Arabia, above and below the water, making Sindalah the future of luxury travel.”

The 840,000 square meter project is set for completion in early 2024 and expects to welcome 2,400 visitors per day by 2028. It will be the first of NEOM’s mega projects to be brought to life.
