As far as Jeddah breakfast places go, this is a classic choice. The breakfast menu at Maison de Zaid offers a jazzed-up version of avocado on toast, served with perfectly poached eggs, roasted capsicums and asparagus, fluffy pancakes drenched with pistachio sauce, and an Arabic breakfast platter. The coffee menu is extensive, along with teas, detox juices, and a hot chocolate for those with a sweet tooth.

Make your own coffee cup at this pottery class

In this unique pottery experience at Adar Art Club, each person will create their own clay cup, paint it, and sip the first coffee from it. The guided class takes one hour and is priced at SAR170 per person.

Catch up with friends at Geek board game cafe

Geek Cafe is a Japanese-inspired restaurant – and the ideal place to be if you are a fan of anime and manga. You’ll find more than 1,000 anime action figures and 300 manga publications on display, as well as a dedicated reading hall, and board game section. The food and drink options are limited with nods to Japanese cuisine and culture with a variety of sweet treats, Japanese cheesecake, Mochi, and more.

This new brunch is all that and dim sum!
