1. Pop by the “Tales of Nostalgia” digital soundscapes exhibition

Misk Art Institute presents “Tales of Nostalgia”, an exhibition by 12 Saudi and international artists who take us through the ever-shifting landscape of the past, present, and future. As our notions of time become ever more complex, so too do the innovative technologies we try to make sense of.  The exhibition is both a reflection upon and a conversation about where we are, as a species, in our endless, intertwined relationship with time and technology.

3. Ignite your creativity at the Saudi Design Festival

The second edition of the Saudi Design Festival has opened in Riyadh, showcasing the sector’s trailblazing work throughout the Kingdom. Based at The City Hub until Monday January 23, the event features panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions, and mentorship sessions in collaboration with the Saudi Architecture and Design Commission. The festival will take place in 35 locations around the city, including Oud Square, The Boulevard Riyadh, and Gallery Design.

4. A day of fun and amusement at Planet X

You’ll feel like you’re stepping into a whole other world at this state-of-the-art, multi-function entertainment centre. 5. Take a historical tour at Diriyah’s At-Turaif World Heritage Site

Visiting At-Turaif is a must when you are in Diriyah. Get ready to explore more about its historical stories and the traditions of its people, as it is where the landmarks of the glorious Kingdom were born. And whilst you’re there, check out the Bujairi Terrace and enjoy the various cafes and restaurants where you can redeem up to the value of the ticket on food and drinks.

6. Check out the new Imagination Park zone

Festival-goers enjoying Riyadh Season’s attractions now have another option – one that will turn cinema fantasy into reality. The new Imagination Park zone offers four immersive adventures based on popular Netflix series, including Squid Game, Stranger Things, Army of the Dead, and La Casa de Papel, as well as models and exhibitions of popular films. 7. Watch AC Milan go head-to-head with Inter Milan

Football fans, prepare for the Italian Super Cup, which will bring two giants of Italian football, AC Milan and Inter Milan, together at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh on Wednesday January 18. The Kingdom is hosting the long-awaited tournament for the third time.
