Collective Retreats brings its luxury outdoor retreat experience to NEOM

Opening 2026, Collective Trojena focuses on preserving the environment and delivering extraordinary guest experiences, making the most of the spectacular snow-capped mountain landscape…

Collective Trojena – that’s the next hotel that has just been announced for NEOM. Part of the US-based Collective Retreats brand, a pioneer in outdoor experiential hospitality, Collective Trojena is slated to open at the start of 2026.

Those familiar with Collective Retreats will know that each of its retreat embraces the natural landscape with decor, furnishings, and activities you won’t find anywhere else. The result? Unforgettable experiences and new perspectives that stay with you. And that’s what guests can look forward to with Collective Trojena.

Here’s an overview to introduce Collective Trojena…

The new ultra-sustainable retreat will offer travellers access to Trojena’s outdoor beauty at NEOM’s snow-capped mountain location, only 50km from the Gulf of Aqaba.

It will have 60 open-air guest rooms and innovative meeting space concepts, as well as dramatic water features, communal campfires, and fire-inspired regionally-infused culinary experiences.

Collective Trojena will also have direct access to the development’s year-round, world-class outdoor activities, such as skiing and snowboarding, high-altitude training, paragliding, mountain biking, hiking, yoga and water sports.

Moreover, guests staying at Collective Trojena can participate in culturally-themed activities focused on film, art, music, and food.

“Collective Retreats has a well-earned reputation for connecting guests to the most spectacular natural settings in ways few others have done before while staying true to its core values of conservation and sustainability. With Trojena and NEOM overall being home to some of the most breath-taking landscapes, we’re thrilled to have selected a partner that shares our ambition to forge a new path for our industry, one that’s characterised by travellers living with nature,” said Chris Newman, executive director for NEOM’s hotel development.

Last month, plans for a luxury hotel, The Chedi Trojena, were announced for the Trojena NEOM project.

Set within NEOM, Trojena is paving the way for the next frontier in sustainability by powering the mountain destination with a combination of solar and wind energy while developing water desalination and brine processing technology to achieve zero waste residual.
