French-Mediterranean restaurant Bagatelle Riyadh is set to open this week
Say Oui to some French food…
French food has become a popular cuisine in Saudi Arabia in the past few years and we’re always excited to welcome in new venues, especially ones that have been around as long as the French hospitality brand Bagatelle. Yes… you read that right, Bagatelle Riyadh is set to open soon.
The international brand comes from the South of France and celebrates the joie de vivre (exuberant enjoyment of life) spirit of the country. The brand has multiple branches all over the world, like Doha, Bahrain, Buenos Aires, and more.

The venue is set to open in Riyadh’s new uber-cool foodie complex Laysen Valley located in Umm Al Hamam Al Gharbi. Joining the likes of NAC, Halepi, and NOOA, Bagatelle is set to bring an array of signature delicious French-Mediterranean dishes to Riyadh.
Bagatelle is known for its lively atmosphere, upbeat music, and of course delicious food. It will undoubtedly be one of the best spots in Riyadh to spend with your friends and family. Expect a strong focus on fresh, clean flavours and ingredients as the centre of the concept, with French classics enlivened with innovative flavours and a lighter approach to dining.
The interior will be designed by an international multi-award-winning interior design firm based in Dubai and Miami, Bishop Design by Paul Bishop.
On the menu, we’re expecting to see Bagatelle’s famous Gambas Marineé Á La Citronelle (Prawns marinated in lemongrass, roasted kumquats, refreshing lemon and tomato sauce), Eggplant Parmigiana, Pizzeta Au Chocolat Jivara (Jivara chocolate pizzetta with caramelized Piedmont hazelnuts).
Bagatelle Riyadh is expected to be open some time during the first week of May, so we’ll be counting down the days to the opening.
