We’re expecting steaming croissants, chocolatey eclairs, airy macaroons and more. These photogenic desserts have earned Kayu over 69,000 followers and counting on its social media, so when you pay the bakery a visit, definitely keep your camera close.

The Midtown venue’s signature items include an animation citron which is made with preserved organic lemon, hazelnut and almond praline Paris Brest, and mille-feuille filled with vanilla light pastry cream or a classic custard.

The name means ” a patient, meticulous person who enjoys working in a very detailed, systematic way, in such fields as mathematics, science, mechanics, computers, or engineering.” And that’s exactly the philosophy behind the brand. Putting an incredible amount of detail behind every recipe and dessert to ensure that nothing but the best is served.

The brand originated in Dubai and has since opened a location in Abu Dhabi as well, and in Riyadh of course too. The man behind the brand is Chef Karim Bourgi, he’s also worked on the openings of La Maison Du Chocolat Paris in Dubai and Kuwait too.
