Get ready to experience Japanese culture at Japamura

The pop-up is making a comeback…

Anime, ninjas, and ramen are just some of the reasons why Riyadh loves itself some Japanese culture. And to celebrate the culture, the world’s largest gaming and esports event, Gamers8 is bringing back Japamura Riyadh.

The cool pop-up will open its doors starting Thursday July 6 and will be open until Wednesday July 12 at Boulevard Riyadh City.

The gorgeous pop-up will host various classes, food, and experiences for all ages. It will also bring back the Yukata experience where you wear traditional Japanese yukata (lightweight robes for the summer months), sip on free tea at the Matcha tasting, and belt out to songs at Japanese karaoke nights.

Last year, Japamura Riyadh also taught Kintsugi, which is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the cracks with powdered metals like gold, silver, or platinum and Amezaiku, which was a style of ‘candy art’ made famous in the Edo period. At the event, you can also look forward to the hidden ninja dojo and join origami classes.
