A dreamy new The Ritz-Carlton Al Khobar resort is coming

If you’ve been after an exciting escape in the country, a gorgeous new The Ritz-Carlton Al Khobar resort is coming by super soon.

At Cityscape, the world’s most ambitious real estate event happening in Riyadh, The Tourism Development Fund announced that it would be financing and developing The Ritz-Carlton Resort in Al Khobar, alongside the Arsi Beach Real Estate Fund, managed by Bloom Investments Saudi Arabia.

The new property will be developed as the first luxury beach resort in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia overlooking the Arabian Gulf. It will provide luxurious accommodation in the coastal city, complete with 130 hotel rooms and suites, including villas designed to reflect the sophisticated spirit of The Ritz-Carlton and 48 chalets on a total area of ​​99,917 square metres.

The venue will also have quite a few upscale restaurants, meeting rooms, a spa, and a range of fitness facilities. The resort’s design will pay homage to local architecture, so we’re expecting a ton of gorgeous photo-worthy spots.

More hotels coming to Saudi Arabia

The St. Regis Riyadh

St. Regis Riyadh

Slated to open in the coming months, The St. Regis Riyadh will be the only hotel at the stylish new Via Riyadh development, located at the entrance of the Diplomatic Quarter. It will have 83 guestrooms, including 23 suites, two signature restaurants, an outdoor pool, a fitness centre, and a spa. The hotel will also feature its signature hallmarks and traditions, including its bespoke butler service and avant-garde style. On its doorstep are an array of high-fashion boutiques and upscale restaurants, as well as a luxurious Vox Cinema.

The Langham Diriyah

The Langham, Diriyah will be located on Diriyah’s main boulevard, just five minutes’ drive from At-Turaif. The hotel will feature 200 ultra-luxe rooms and suites, The Langham Chuan Spa, an intimate Langham Club Lounge, and an art gallery experience. It will also offer two exciting new dining destinations, including the first Middle Eastern outpost of the three-Michelin-star Cantonese restaurant T’ang Court, plus The Langham’s famed signature afternoon tea and the first international outpost of The Langham, London’s cooking school, Sauce.
