Confirmed: Chris Brown to headline MDLBeast SoundStorm 2023
The King of RnB returns…
After a clue dropped on November 3, we thought we might know the next artist for the MDLBeast SoundStorm 2023, and now it’s official: RnB megastar Chris Brown will perform in Riyadh on Friday December 15. Brown joins Pharrell & Phriends, Martin Garrix, Axwell, Anne-Marie, and Anfisa Letyago in performing on the same night at SoundStorm.

Thanks to a series of clues posted to the MDLBeast SoundStorm Instagram, in which fans were required to guess the names of the artist’s hit songs pictured via emojis.
The first clue of an infinity symbol implies something will last forever, which, we reckon, would reference the song “Forever”. For the second and third clues, they appeared to reference the song “Go Crazy” and his first song “Run It”.
MDLBeast SoundStorm Instagram profile feed also posted a video with the texts of a few song titles being shown quickly (We could spot “Run It”, “Gimme That”, “Yeah 3x”, “Deuces”, “Loyal”, “Under The Influence”, “New Flame”, “Don’t Judge Me”, and “No Guidance”) and a mashup of songs playing in the background.

Then last night, November 4, event organisers confirmed what many had deduced, announcing the King of RnB, Chris Brown, as another headline act. When he takes to the stage as part of the event, taking place from December 14 to 16, fans can look forward to an unforgettable, high-energy show. Say what we will about Brown’s questionable behaviour off the stage, but we’re excited to see Brown return to the Kingdom with his killer moves and dope songs.
A chart-topping force, Brown became the first RnB act in 2020 to score 100 entries on the US Billboard charts, and has achieved 50 top 40 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 and 16 top 10 entries. He also won the award for Favourite Male RnB Artist at the 2022 AMAs and Best RnB/Soul Male Artiste at the Soul Train Awards 2022. Brown’s 10th album, “Breezy”, was nominated for Best RnB Album at the Grammy Awards 2023.
