Jeddah welcomes new Obhur Waterfront destination

If you’re looking for a new, perfect family-friendly destination, look no further. The brand-new Obhur Waterfront in Jeddah is where you want to go.
Covering an area of 205,000 square meters, the gorgeous newly redeveloped area opened to the public last week.

Incredible things you can look forward to in the area include a sea promenade, sandy beaches, plenty of open green areas, stunning pedestrian pathways, cycling tracks, and multi-purpose plazas.
Managed by the Jeddah Municipality, the area is the perfect getaway for that wonderful break with your family. You and the kiddos can also enjoy kids’ playgrounds, swimming beaches, a marina, food carts, and retail zones. There will also be dancing fountains, a fishing pier, and so much more.

The Obhur Waterfront is part of a larger 1,000,000 square metre masterplan for the area along the Jeddah Corniche south of the Obhur Creek being developed by TTZ Group.
The entire development is inspired by waves, and the design will be emphasizing the abstract form of waves.
Inaugurated by Prince Badr bin Sultan, the deputy emir of the Makkah Region, at a special ceremony, the waterfront is set to be the go-to hub this season.
