The DQ Souq now returns every Saturday

Your weekends just got a lot more exciting…

With the weather cooling down, it was only a matter of time before the incredibly popular DQ Souq made its long-awaited comeback. And it’s finally here.

Happening every weekend starting Saturday November 18, the hugely popular concept has been a success in Riyadh’s Diplomatic Quarter since 2019. In its sixth edition now, this open market is the place to be during the weekend.

At the market, you can look forward to shopping for fresh produce, healthy food, and even potted plants. The open market is usually decked out in a ton of twinkling fairy lights on exposed brick walls and pretty walkways to discover all the stalls the souq has to offer.

Gather up the gang and enjoy a game corner for adults, a painting corner, and more than 50 diverse booths, including food trucks, snacks, accessories, abaya, toys, and handmade products for you to go shopping at. The kiddos can also check out an outdoor cinema, drawing area, and mini animal corner (petting zoo), where they can check out dogs and a snake too.

The market aims to introduce small, locally-owned businesses to the public; these also include online-only stores, speciality cafes, and a few restaurants.

Located behind the AlArabiya building and Oud Square, you don’t need a ticket to enter the DQ Souq. The market will take place from 4pm to 11pm.

Get ready to shop till you drop.
