Kanye West revealed as surprise act at MDLBeast SoundStorm 2023

The line-up just got a lot more epic…

MDLBeast is full of surprises. It has just been announced that Kanye “Ye” West will be performing on the Big Beast stage at SoundStorm.

However, the exact date of his performance has yet to be revealed – although it’s tipped to be on Saturday December 16.

The outspoken artist is expected to release his 14th studio album on Friday December 15, marking his return to music.

The new album, titled “Vultures”, was written in partnership with longtime collaborator Ty Dolla $ign, and its track listing features a who’s-who of respected rap industry names – from artists such as Lil Baby and Nicki Minaj to producers like Timbaland, who has worked with the likes of Beyonce and Justin Timberlake.

This is not the first time that Ye and Ty Dolla $ign have joined forces; the latter has helped Ye in producing tracks that have now become iconic, such as Real Friends, Junya Pt 2, and Only One, a song that also made history due to the featuring of Paul McCartney.

What do we know about Ye’s “Vultures”

In addition to the release date, we also know the tracklist of “Vultures”, thanks to Ty Dolla $ign’s Instagram post a few days ago.

Among the songs listed include Everybody, which may be the first single from the set, a Timbo Freestyle, as well as the title track. Vultures, Ye’s first official release since Hot Shit with Cardi B and Lil Durk last July, initially debuted last month on the Chicago radio station Power 92 and features Lil Durk and Ty Dolla $ign.

Fans have also pointed out that a song called New Body that featured Nicki Minaj, and was originally part of Kanye’s unreleased 2018 project “Yandhi”, is now featured on the tracklist of the new album.

Here’s to hoping that Ye will be giving a performance of his new songs, as well as classic hits, like Praise God, Can’t Tell Me Nothing, Stronger, Runaway, and other fan favourites at MDLBeast SoundStorm.

Ye is no stranger to Saudi Arabia. He was recently spotted in Riyadh with his daughter, North West, and in AlUla, where he was reportedly working on the “Vultures” album with Ty Dolla $ign.

However, his performance at MDLBeast SoundStorm 2023 will be his first in Saudi Arabia. All eyes is on Ye…
