Riyadh has been investing a lot in its ever-expanding creative industry, and one organisation that’s been at the forefront of it is Misk Art Institute. The non-profit cultural organization empowers local artists and was founded as a subsidiary of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation, “Misk.” This week, you can experience the best of contemporary art at Misk Art Week 2023.
Happening until Sunday December 10, the event offers the perfect chance to cultivate creativity and engage the community in the heart of Riyadh.

The six-day event brings audiences from all backgrounds together with art professionals. There’s set to be a creative forum, educational programs, live performances, exhibitions and showcases, The Art Library Salon (a gathering point for literary and art enthusiasts), and a fun art and design market too.
The art and design market will act as a dynamic platform for artists, designers, makers, and entrepreneurs to engage the creative community, allowing visitors to collect, acquire, source, and commission one-of-a-kind works.
There will also be Azeema exhibitions, workshops, stunning art installations, a live art space, art installation puzzles, and if you’re bringing along the kiddos, you can even look forward to a kid’s zone. Don’t forget to stop by the gift shop and grab yourself a nice little memento to remember the event by.
