Who doesn’t love a spot of alfresco dining when the temps cool down? And you can trust The Ritz-Carlton Jeddah to make something truly lovely out of its charming porte cochère.
Here’s introducing the hotel’s sizzling new dining experience, Flame, with views overlooking the King Fahad Fountain.
Held every Thursday from 7pm to midnight, Flame is dedicated to an outdoor barbeque buffet with live cooking stations. It sprawls out onto a generous space near the main gate of the hotel, part undercover and part open to the sky.

Nab a picturesque table in front of the property’s fountain or within the tranquil surrounds of the gardens and the majestic palatial architecture. Expect a full-on feast, highlighting locally sourced, seasonal produce cooked over an open flame grill.
Diners can watch the chefs prepare and cook cuts of quality meat at the Butcher’s Corner, which will then be served to your table. The Tomahawk is the star of the show.
That’s not to say it’s all steak, however, as there are many seafood delights on the menu, including expertly cooked grilled lobster and shrimps, and a rather marvellous crispy whole local fish, whose presentation needs to be seen to be believed – it’s truly something to behold.
You can also tuck into a variety of appetisers, salads, and sushi. Then, top it all off with a brilliant mocktail list from the bar and decadent desserts, and you’re in for a treat. Just remember to stop by the s’mores station.
There’s something for everyone here, and at SAR275 per person, it’s reasonably priced, too. Plus, we love that there’s live music so you can get into the groove without having to leave your seat.
