The iconic new multi-use venue is anticipated to host some of Saudi Arabia’s biggest sports, entertainment, and cultural events. The Prince Mohammad bin Salman Stadium will be located in Qiddiya City at the top of the breathtaking 200-meter-high Tuwaiq Cliff, and just 40 minutes from Riyadh, this futuristic venue is anticipated to become a must-visit destination.

Abdullah Aldawood, Managing Director of Qiddiya Investment Company says “Our ambition is for Qiddiya City to become a global destination for entertainment, sports and culture and this iconic new stadium will be at its very heart.”

An immersive experience like no other…

The stadium will be created by renowned international architectural firm Populous, and it will be the first fully integrated venue in the world with a retractable roof, pitch, and LED wall, which will allow the space to transform into different ‘event modes” in a matter of minutes.

The wall will also transport guests through live event broadcasts, high-definition films and laser shows, providing visitors with immersive experiences each time they visit. You’ll be able to enjoy multiple spectacles in a single day, including football, boxing, esports, concerts, and theatre performances.

The venue will also be surrounded by 50,000 square meters of shopping, dining, entertainment spaces, and hotels, and have easy access to the vibrant gaming and esports district. So you can fully explore everything the city has to offer.

Once open, the 45,000-seat multi-functional stadium will serve as the future home ground of Saudi Pro League football clubs Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal. It’s also one of the proposed venues for Saudi Arabia’s 2034 FIFA World Cup.
