Tickets for Russell Peters' comedy gig in Riyadh are still available

The Canadian comedic megastar is heading to the capital city this February…

When it comes to comedy, Russell Peters is peerless. The comedian with a knack for accents has been making people laugh for more than three decades with his spot-on impressions and sharp observations on racial and cultural stereotypes.

Once again, Peters is heading back to the Kingdom, returning to Riyadh for the first time in eight years. The one-night ‘Russell Peters: Live’ show is booked for Saturday February 24 at Princess Noura University Theatre, and tickets are on sale now.

Peters has been to Saudi Arabia a couple of times now. He was the very first comedian to grace the stage of the award-winning Maraya in AlUla back in 2022.

If you aren’t sure of who Russell Peters is, you may recognise him from his very popular phrases, including “Somebody Gonna Get Hurt Real Bad”, “Be a man, do the right thing!”, “Take it… and go! Take-it-and-go!”, and many more.

Named by Rolling Stone as one of the 50 Best Comics of All Time, Peters rose to comedic stardom in 2004 for his signature jokes targeting cultural groups in a CTV “Comedy Now!” special that went viral online.

Over the course of his worldwide tours, he has broken attendance records at renowned venues worldwide, including New York’s Madison Square Garden, The Sydney Opera House, and London’s O2 Arena. And he may just sell out once again when he heads to Riyadh next month.

Expect his trademark observational comedy, uncanny impersonations, wild lols and frank, unashamed tales of his own misadventures. Oh, and if you get front-row seats, he may just include you in one of his improv routines.

But that’s not all. There will also be an opening act by comedian Adam Hunter. A New York City native, Hunter headlines all over the world, putting his heart and soul into every performance with a show that is brash, deep, and hilarious. No topic is off limits; his act ranges from jokes about marriage, fatherhood, pop culture, politics, dating and everything in between.

See you there, but maybe just not in the front row…
