Breaking news, boxing fans: Tyson Fury’s undisputed world heavyweight title fight with Oleksandr Usyk has been postponed until further notice. The much-hyped encounter had originally been due to take place in Riyadh on Saturday February 17, but was postponed after the Briton suffered a bad cut above an eye in training.

According to an Instagram post by Turki AlShikh, chairman of the General Authority for Entertainment (GEA), “the fight will be rescheduled at a later date and tickets will be refunded to the public.”

If the ‘Ring of Fire’ face-off does take place at a later date, the winner will be crowned the first undisputed heavyweight champion in the four-belt era, which is set to be an epic showdown.

The rescheduling of the highly anticipated match provides both fighters with additional time to recover and prepare, while also maintaining the momentum and excitement surrounding the event.
