Rally Jameel, Saudi’s first-ever all-women navigation rally, is returning to the Kingdom for the third time in a row. Rally Jameel 2024 coincides with International Women’s Day, this time passing through some of the Kingdom’s iconic landmarks.

Starting on Monday March 4 and going on until Friday March 8, the off-road navigation rally is one that does not require a speed criteria.

The five-day event will pass through five cities, starting from Hail to King Abdullah Economic City and passing through AlUla, Umluj, and lastly, Yanbu. Each team will require two ladies driving manufactured four-wheel or all-wheel-drive vehicles.

The route is over 1,600 kilometres long, may vary from 300 to 500 km per day, and is kept confidential until the night before each stage. To guarantee the safety of the participants, the rally will use a state-of-the-art tracking system and helicopter medics.

Last year, the female-only event piqued the interest of 82 participants from 25 nationalities. Vroom vroom. This year, we’re expecting to host participants from all over the world, including 35 nationalities like Spain, Australia, Jordan, Brazil, and Portugal.

Registration to take part in the rally has already ended. The registration costed SAR13,800 per team of two for early registration, and SAR17,250 for late registration and included preparation and navigation training sessions, plus camping.
