Have a blast at SnowBlast, a winter wonderland with over 500 tons of snow
The brand-new, four-day SnowBlast KSA experience in Riyadh has it all – from family-friendly activities to snowboarding and skiing contests…
Yes, snow does fall in Saudi Arabia, but for the first time, there will be real falling snow in Riyadh. That’s right – SnowBlast KSA 2024 by Riyadh Season is set to open in Al Malqa (near the Kingdom Arena) from Monday February 26 to Thursday February 29.
With more than 500 tons of snow, the whole family will be swept away in the snowy spectacle as they have snowball fights and, of course, play in the snow. The little ones will love building their very own snowman friend and spinning around the tubing lanes. The four-day experience will be made even more magical by sparkling light shows, roaming acts, and a soft flurry of snowflakes.

Along with all the wintery activities, we’re also pretty excited about the tasty treats at the snow-covered food village. It’s safe to say that we’ll leave SnowBlast KSA 2024 with full hearts and stomachs.
The first-ever competitive winter sports in the region
That’s not all, though. Aside from the array of family fun in the snow, the highlight of the experience is the inaugural SnowBlast KSA Cup, bringing snowboarding and skiing competitions on Wednesday February 28 and Thursday February 29 respectively.
The global event – promising to be a spectacular celebration of winter sports – brings out 30 legends of skiing and snowboarding pros and Olympic medallists who will be darting down the 150-metre slopes (with a height of 30 metres, and a width of about 20 metres) with precision and speed.
Each contestant will perform three jumps, with the scores from their best two attempts being tallied by an international panel of judges. The results and points will be displayed on large screens, and live commentary will be in both Arabic and English.

There will be a guest star appearance, Tanner Hall – arguably the greatest all-around skier of our time. The pioneering figure, who’s known for pushing the sport to new heights, is a rare athlete, having found success in the moguls, in the streets, in the parks, in the X Games, in the backcountry, in the movies, and on the Freeride World Tour. It doesn’t get more complete than that, and the crazy thing is that now, at 40, he’s skiing better than he ever has. A bold statement, we know – but you can soon see it (his prowess) to believe it…

The Family Fun Day tickets for February 26 and 27 are priced at SAR20, while the tickets for February 28 and 29, which includes Family Fun Day and Freestyle Cup, are priced at SAR40.
