L’Occitane is opening its first café in Saudi Arabia
The beauty café is bringing a slice of Provence to Riyadh…
When you think of L’Occitane, the first thing that comes to mind would probably be lotions formulated with natural, delicious sweet-smelling ingredients like lavender, almond and shea butter. But the French beauty brand is more than just its array of au naturale beauty products.
In fact, L’Occitane has a café that serves up delicious French-inspired dishes. If you’ve ever had the opportunity to visit its cafés in Shibuya, Paris, or Dubai, you’re in for a treat because L’Occitane Café is finally coming to Riyadh.
While the exact opening date has not been announced, L’Occitane Café will be located at the new 1364 AH complex in Riyadh’s Diplomatic Quarter.
If the Dubai outpost is any indication, expect a hybrid venue where you can discover L’Occitane’s latest launches, try out some of the products from its skincare, hair care and fragrance lines, and taste the flavours of the South of France – all in one visit so you can shop while sipping on a cup of tea.
Promising a Provençal-inspired experience, there will be multiple sections across the space that will tingle all five senses – see, hear, touch, taste, and smell. Look forward to a pretty interior, which will make for a sophisticated and relaxing atmosphere.
Think a contemporary Provençal landscape in the middle of Riyadh, with a bright yellow interior with pops of blue, warm lighting, and beautiful botanicals adorning the venue.
But what we’re most excited about is its mocktail menu, which will pair fragrance with flavour, incorporating many of the natural ingredients found in some of its cosmetic products.
In the meantime, watch this space for further details.
Coming soon. L’Occitane Café, 1364 AH Complex, Diplomatic Quarter, 3652 Amr Aldamri St, Al Safarat, 8080 Riyadh 12512.
