French-Mediterranean hotspot LPM hosts a delectable sharing set menu for iftar, which includes a Ramadan drink, dates, soup, a selection of starters to share (such as the classic burrata, green lentil salad, and snails with garlic butter and parsley), one main course (it has to be the sea bream Provençal style), one drink, and desserts, featuring the exquisite Île Flotante, a soft meringue with English custard and chocolate caramel sauce, the velvety Cheesecake, and the Upside-down Date Cake. Fancy an Anatolian iftar? A first of its kind in Saudi Arabia, Rüya Riyadh has a special set menu filled with traditional and contemporary Turkish classics this Ramadan. As the sun sets, break your fast with olives, sweet Medjool dates, dried fruit and red lentil soup, with a pot of steaming Arabic coffee. Then, enjoy cold mezze – or Soğuk – with star dishes including Atom (char broiled peppers and aubergine on fried garlic yoghurt and pide bread), Hummus, Muhammara, Rafik and Turkish Spoon Salad, before moving on to comforting warm hot mezze – Sicak – of Börek (filo wrapped feta with vegetables), and Menemen (scrambled egg in tomato sauce). Other dishes from the set menu include two cheese pide, Lahmacun (spicy lamb with vegetables), and a Turkish Mix Platter before finishing off with the beloved Rüya Künefe. A self-service station with specials like Foul Mudammas and dates, dry fruits, fresh fruit and bread will also be available freely throughout the night.
