The new feature will allow riders to save on every trip. As the most affordable option, riders will receive an upfront discount of up to 12 per cent if they choose UberX Share. Although, the full discount will only be applied if there is a successful match with another rider.
If you’re looking to make a more sustainable choice, UberX Share provides a greener way to get from A to B by moving more people in fewer cars. Sharing your ride will help reduce emissions and congestion in your city.
With UberX Share, you can request one seat only. But if you’re riding with a friend or a group of friends, consider requesting UberX or UberXL.
Recently Uber also launched Uber Teens. The new product is designed to help families on the go and allows parents or guardians to invite teens (aged 13-17) to create a specialized Uber account that allows teens to request their own rides with parental supervision and key safety features built into the experience.
