All you need to know about the UFC Fight Night happening this weekend

It promises to be an action-packed affair despite late-stage changes…

Let’s get ready to rumble. The first-ever UFC action in Saudi Arabia is ticking along. Taking place on Saturday June 22 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, it is set to mark its inaugural event with a bang.

Here’s everything you need to know about the UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs Aliskerov.

What is the UFC Fight Night?

UFC Saudi Arabia is a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the largest MMA promotion in the world. It will feature 11 fights, including five on the main card and six on the preliminaries. This will be the first time the UFC has hosted an event in Saudi Arabia.

What’s the fight card like?

Despite Khamzat Chimaev’s withdrawal from UFC Fight Night, exciting matchups await fans, with Robert Whittaker vs Ikram Aliskerov headlining the event. Restructured only last week, the main event is a fascinating pairing between a former UFC middleweight champion and a rising star.
