Riyadh’s hottest summer calls for a drink. To help you get some relief from the sweltering heat, Flamingo Room at Riyadh’s Bujairi Terrace welcomes a menu of fruity mocktails and flavourful creations.

We’ve picked the restaurant’s finest concoctions that will cater for post-work drinks, casual catch-ups, and romantic rendezvous alike.

Secret Oasis

For a five-star holiday in a glass, order the Secret Oasis, an eye-popping crimson blend of cranberry juice, rose syrup, orange flower cordial, and soda water. Dried rose petals add a subtle floral flavour and act as a beautiful garnish.

Secret Oasis & Basil Crush

Basil Crush

Comprising fresh basil, kaffir lime, lemonade, and ginger ale, Basil Crush is a fresh, light-tasting cocktail that packs a kick. Sit back and enjoy while you take in the space’s pastel-pink walls and stand-out wildlife-themed designs.

Elixir of Life

Saffron is the star of this mocktail. The drink is given an aromatic upgrade with the addition of cardamom, star anise, and cloves simple syrup, and then topped with splashes of orange, lemon and soda water for a not-too-sweet version that is sure to refresh.

For those in the full swing of summertime joy, we recommend the Flamingo Passion mocktail, which mixes passion fruit, sun-dried orange, mint, lemonade, and soda water. A great drink when you’re in the mood for something fruity.

Mr Paw Paw

You’re sitting in one of Riyadh’s glittering dining destinations in Bujairi Terrace – the stylish, rosy-hued restaurant that immerses guests in the majestic beauty of the African continent. What are you drinking? Mr Paw Paw, of course. The classic pineapple and coconut recipe gets the Flamingo Room treatment – with a dash of crème of coconut and frozen papaya.

Enjoy these drinks with the restaurant’s new summery dishes, like the white fish ceviche, made up of sea bass with zingy ponzu, ginger, coriander, and lime juice, or the innovative butternut squash carpaccio made with charred butternut slices, pumpkin seeds, pomegranate and créme fraiche – ideal for sharing during the long summer evenings.
