If there’s one thing Saudi Arabia is known for, it’s the wonderful festivals and events, We’re talking massive ones like Riyadh Season, Azimuth, and more. And most of our favourite ones have already confirmed their return. So here are the festivals in Saudi Arabia to look forward to 2024.
AlUla Desert Blaze
The heat is on. If you want to test your grit and physical limit surrounded by the beautiful landscape of AlUla in the scorching summer, the highly anticipated second edition of AlUla Desert Blaze returns on Saturday August 24.
This remarkable event combines the spirit of adventure with the thrill of competition, offering participants an unforgettable experience like no other over distances of 5km (SAR70), 10km (SAR120), 21km (SAR200), and 42km (SAR350).

AZIMUTH
Happening from Thursday September 19 to Saturday 21, the event will kickstart the Saudi National Day celebrations. This time around, performing beneath the stunning backdrop of Qa’a AlHaj, the AZIMUTH 2024 line-up will surpass the more than 30 incredible local, regional, and international artists who starred in 2023.

Riyadh International Book Fair
Bibliophiles, listen up. It’s your time to shine. And if you’re after your next great read, this is likely where you’re going to find it. Dates have just been announced for the Riyadh International Book Fair 2024, and we certainly cannot wait. Happening from Thursday September 26 to Saturday October 5, the Riyadh International Book Fair has already opened registrations for all local and international publishers.

Riyadh Fashion Week
Fashion lovers will be in a banger of a season. After making a successful debut last year, the fashion juggernaut, Riyadh Fashion Week, is returning this October. Mark your calendars for Thursday October 17 to Monday October 21 as Riyadh once again sets the stage for fashion’s future – where Arab designers get a much bigger spotlight. The event, staged by the Ministry of Culture’s Fashion Commission, will feature a host of the Kingdom’s up-and-coming and established fashion designers, showcasing haute couture, ready-to-wear and more in both menswear and womenswear.

Riyadh Season
Riyadh’s event calendar is focused on one massive festival, the coveted Riyadh Season. The citywide festival is returning this year in October, and the exact date has just been revealed. This is when Riyadh Season 2024 is happening. According to Turki Alalshikh’s tweet on Tuesday August 6, the glorious festival will be returning on Saturday October 12.

Happening on the second weekend in December, the massive festival will return from Thursday December 12 to Saturday December 14. MDLBeast has released Wave 1 of the SoundStorm (early bird) tickets, with only the three-day passes left (SAR209 for GA, SAR499 for GA+ and SAR2,029 for VIB). They will be releasing another batch of tickets, so be sure to keep a lookout. Rapper Eminem will headline the MDLBEast SoundStorm 2024 this December, so will the real Slim Shady please stand up?
