Visiting Beijing? You can now fly direct from Dammam on Saudia
Embrace the sensory overload that is China’s historical and cultural capital…
Always wanted to tick the majestic Great Wall of China off your bucket list? Pack your bags and get ready for a seamless journey as Saudia introduces new direct flights from Dammam to the enchanting city of Beijing.
The new route will offer flights to China’s bustling capital – home to a wealth of historical sites, temples, gardens, and other precious relics of long-lost dynasties alongside entertainment, modern architecture, and art collection.
With more than 20 million people, Beijing is the most populous city in China after Shanghai.
Whether you want to bask in the city’s beauty by visiting the Unesco World Heritage sites or immerse yourself in the memories of old Beijing within the narrow hutongs and tiny alleys that separate traditional courtyard homes, the city offers a wide variety of places for a holistic experience.
Venture north, past the austere buildings of the past, and you’ll come across the avant-garde Guardian Art Centre, the new headquarters of China Guardian auction house.
Of course, you can’t leave Beijing without trying Peking Duck, the city’s signature food, served with delicious Chinese noodles and rice dishes. After dark, visit karaoke bars or nightclubs for evening entertainment.
Beijing is an unforgettable experience. Get a taste of traditional China and, at the same time, see the futuristic designs of the entrepreneurial East.
Saudia will operate two direct flights on Mondays and Fridays from King Fahd International Airport in Dammam to Beijing Daxing International Airport. The flight departs from Dammam at 5.55am (local time) and arrives in Beijing at 7.25pm (local time), with the journey taking around eight hours and 30 minutes.
With this addition, Dammam becomes the third city from which Saudia operates flights to Beijing, following Jeddah and Riyadh.
