Celebrating local artists is one of the many reasons we love living in Riyadh. The capital always finds new and impressive ways to support and honour the incredibly talented artists we have right on our doorstep. Welcome to Misk Art Week 2024, an event putting a spotlight on just that.
Happening from Thursday December 5 to Tuesday December 10, the massive art-focused event will be taking over the Modern Institute of the Capital in An Namudhajiyah.

The creative industry in Riyadh is constantly flourishing with the most incredible events and activities, and an institute at the forefront of ingraining art into the very essence of the Kingdom is the Misk Art Institute. A way to get the public involved is through showcases and art bazaars, and that’s just what to expect at the Misk Art Week 2024.
The event will be divided into several different activities, including an exciting Art and Design Market, a creative platform in the most traditional sense that brings artists and craftsmen together with the general public. You can also look forward to several exhibitions, an art book fair, and lastly an art fair too.
There will also be mentorship programs, which will allow young artists to discuss goals, ideas, and career paths with experts and specialists in various creative fields.
The art fair will be hosting local galleries from across Saudi Arabia to showcase unique artworks. These include venues like the 015 Gallery, the Abstract Art Gallery, the Alajlan Art Gallery, along with several other incredible institutes.
Children are welcome to join in on the first three days of the week (from December 5 to 7) but the last three days are for adults 16 and over.
