Here’s what to expect when Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo returns in January 2025.
Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo 2025 will feature six teams of three players, each comprising one professional, one international patron, and one dignitary. The teams will battle for the prestigious Desert Polo trophy over two days of action-packed matches.
Among the athletes swinging mallets from atop their horses will be none other than Adolfo Cambiaso, the Argentinian widely regarded as the finest polo player of all time and the founder and captain of La Dolfina Polo Team. He will be joined by his son, Adolfo “Poroto” Cambiaso, and his daughter, Mia Cambiaso.
Other notable players include Nacho Figueras – known as the “David Beckham of polo” – and Pablo Mac Donough. More professional female players will once again participate after competing for the first time in the 2024 tournament.
Alongside world-class polo and excitement, fashion enthusiasts dressed to the nines will also gather to enjoy an afternoon filled with music and entertainment. Key highlights for spectators include the Kids Zone, which provides interactive equestrian experiences and fun games for the little ones. Other activities feature both traditional and contemporary musical performances for a lively atmosphere, as well as browsing local crafts at pop-up retail shops.
In between the matches, you can also enjoy a diverse selection of food and beverages, including expertly crafted mocktails by professional mixologists.
